Baldwin Creek Lodge specializes in guided fishing trips for steelhead, trout (brown and rainbow), king and coho salmon. Baldwin Creek Lodge is headquartered in Baldwin, MI and located in the center of Century Circle, to the north we have the Little Manistee, Big Manistee, and Pine River, to the south we have the White and Muskegon River and in our back yard we have the National Wild and Scenic Pere Marquette River. We have a wealth of knowledge and passion for what we do. We have spent years fishing local waters fine tuning our knowledge base in order to put you on the best fisheries when they are fishing their best. Whether this is your first time with a rod in your hand or you are an avid angler we invite you to join is for world class fishing on some of the most wild and scenic rivers without traveling the world!
What we offer:
- A Full Day (8-10 hours, 1-2 people) $525.00
- A Half Day (4-5 hours, 1-2 people) $425.00
- A 3 person trip is at the discretion of the guide. $125 extra is charged for a 3rd person.
- Lodging is not included with any Guide trips. If you would like to stay at Baldwin Creek Lodge regular room rates will apply.
A Full Day Trip includes:
Fully guided fishing trip out of the comfort of a custom StealthCraft drift boat or jet sled depending on the occasion. All tackle and gear are provided, this includes rods, reels, tackle and flies. If you have a favorite rod, reel or fly pattern by all means bring it along! We ask that clients come prepared with waders, polarized sunglasses, rain gear, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, gloves, dress for Michigan weather and last but not least a Michigan Fishing License.

A full days trip also includes breakfast rolls or muffins and coffe (if early start) as well as a gourmet stream side lunch and beverages. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Please let us know at the time of booking if lodging is needed.
A Half Day Trip includes:
The same as a full day only 4-5 hours of fishing. Please let us know at the time of booking if lodging is needed. A half day trip also includes snacks and beverages. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
A $100.00 per boat per day non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. We gladly accept all major credit cards. If the need arises and you do have to cancel your trip, it must be done 30 days prior to your schedule date.
It is our promise to provide a guide service that is professional and hard working. We will do everything we can to make sure you have a productive and rewarding time on the river. Our guidesmanship is second to none!
Upland Bird Hunting and Cast and Blast

In addition to fishing for steelhead, trout and salmon, Baldwin Creek Lodge offers Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock hunting trips. Our guides pride themselves in finding some of the most exclusive private and state upland bird sanctuaries. We also have some of the best trained upland bird dogs around. There is nothing better than seeing a great bird dog lock up on point and the anticipation of flushing a pen down bird is exhilarating. “Blue” our lead English Setter, from the infamous Moss Kennels, will give you a day of relentless enjoyment. When hunting with any of our guides you will experience great shooting opportunities, beautiful scenery and lasting upland hunting memories.
Dates for hunting:
- Woodcock – September 22 – November 5.
- Grouse – September 15 – November 15 and December 1 – January 1.
A Full Day Hunting Trip includes:
A fully guided trip including dog, gourmet meal prepared by your guide and transportation to and from pre-selected grouse and woodcock covers. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Please let us know at the time of booking if lodging is needed.
We ask that our clients come prepared with a small game license (HIP endorsement needed for woodcock), hunters orange, shotgun of your choice and ammo, field chaps and boots. We do allow our customers to bring their own hunting dogs if they so choose. Hunters orange, shotguns and ammo are available for rent.
A Full Day Cast and Blast Trip
A Northern Michigan experience unlike any other. There’s no better way to split your day than having a hard charging steelhead on your line, and setting up on a grouse held down by a great bird dog. The shoreline areas of the Pere Marquette and surrounding rivers are ideal for Ruffed Grouse and resident Woodcock.

All guiding is done by another entity other than Baldwin Creek Lodge, each guide is an independent contractor and is responsible for federal and state compliance. All customers are required to follow local and state rules please have valid licenses before coming on a trip.
Rates and Cancellation Policy
Peak Season Rates:
March 15th – April 30th
September 15th – October 15th
Holiday Weekends: Two weeks prior to check in date.
Blessing of the Bikes and Troutarama: One month prior to check in date.
Spring/Fall Peak Fishing Season: Two weeks prior to check in date.
All other times: 48 hours prior to check in date.
You will be charged the full amount of the reservation if you cancel after the above time frame.
